Vassia Atanassova

Vassia Atanassova is Associate Professor in the Department of Bioinformatics and Mathematical Modelling, Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). She defended Ph.D. degree in Informatics in the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies at BAS in 2013. Her main research interests are intuitionistic fuzzy sets and decision making under uncertainty, mathematical modelling with generalized nets and nature inspired metaheuristic algorithms. She is a member of the Management Committee of the COST Action 17124 "Digital Forensics: Evidence Analysis via Intelligent Systems and Practices."

In DIGILIENCE 2019 Vassia works with Prof. Sotirov on the organization of the session on Intelligent Systems for Digital Forensics.
